Valleyquilt honors the brave patients and dedicated staff of Valley Medical Center's Breast Center every day of the year.

More women than ever before are surviving–and thriving–despite the diagnosis of breast cancer. That they're able to do so is a tribute to the marvels of science. But it's also a reflection of individual heroism and courage. The Valley Quilt website honors both the survivors of breast cancer and those who ultimately lost their battles. The website invites users to upload a quilt square, which they can make by photographing or scanning cloth. They also have the option to use templates provided on the site. Users can also browse the squares that others have added.
