Music heals psychic wounds, spiritual wounds, and musician Ricky Gene Powell believes it can heal physical wounds, too. “I don’t think without music, anybody would ever heal, from anything,” says Powell, who was diagnosed with cancer in December and is receiving treatment at SCCA while continuing to build his career as a musician.
